What the app does
Holy Bible AI offers offline Bible reading and search, prayer writing and explanations using an optional AI service, a personal faith journal, saved Scripture and prayers, voice tools, and optional local notifications.
Information on your device
Reading history, saved verses and prayers, journal entries, preferences, your chosen display name, and reminder settings may be saved locally on your device. Offline Bible reading does not require an account. Removing the app usually removes its local app data, although device backups may retain copies depending on your settings.
Account and sign-in
If you use online AI features or subscriptions, the app uses Firebase Authentication to manage your sign-in, including guest or Apple sign-in where offered. Account identifiers can be sent to the app's secure backend to verify usage entitlements and apply AI usage limits.
AI inputs
When you request a prayer, explanation, question response or dream reflection, the content you submit, relevant Scripture references, and selected app preferences may be sent to the app's secure backend and an AI processing provider to generate a response. Do not submit information that you do not wish to share with an online processing service. AI output may be inaccurate; check Scripture references against the included Bible.
Microphone, speech and reminders
Voice features request microphone and/or speech recognition permissions when used. Depending on device and provider settings, speech recognition may use Apple services. Optional local reminders are ordinary device notifications; they are not wake-up alarms. Notification permissions can be changed in iPhone Settings.
Subscriptions
Apple handles App Store subscription billing. The app uses RevenueCat and its backend to check purchase status and prevent inappropriate access. Deleting the app or account does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions are managed through Apple.
Your choices
Inside the app you can erase local personal data, and if signed in you can request account deletion from Account & Access. You can manage microphone, speech and notifications in iPhone Settings. You can manage subscriptions through Apple Subscriptions.
